The litttle things make a big difference.......and wonderful souvenirs

So of course you want to make your perfect wedding day as unique and personal as possible, but how?  Well I tend to notice a lot of subtle yet powerful finishing touches working as a wedding photographer and it is vital that I pay attention to these details, and the individual handwriting which couples have attached to their special day.  Here are a few of my favorite personal touches that have caught my eye recently.

If you have any special ideas that you are going to incorporate in your wedding day then please leave a comment to tell me about them.  I love to hear about the little things that really make the big day, and hopefully these examples may give you some ideas of your own to help your wedding planning.

This was a wonderful personal touch at a Yeldersley Hall wedding near Asbourne.  Each wedding guest was invited to write a message for the bride & Groom to PIECE TOGETHER there wedding day.

The Photo Wall - Derbyshire Weddding Photography

A classic and always a favourite.  The photo wall.  These provide such a great meeting and talking point at weddings.  They never fail to amuse and inspire conversation. A fail safe winner!

So simple and yet so functional.  Make your guest lives easier and have a brilliant souvenir for your garden after the event with personalised road signs.  I love these signs!

Wedding flower milk bottle vases - Derbyshire wedding photography

Everything can tell a personal story and I will always remember these milk bottle vases.  The bottles being from a dairy connected to the family. THIS is a great example of a personal touch, and the ultimate in quirky!

With a simple yet effective finish to an item like this personalised crate you can make a talking point and a lifetime souvenir all in one. Shottle Hall in Derbyshire was where I came across this very stylish wedding day accessory.

Every picture tells a story and this story was of the bride and grooms travels told in the table names representing the destinations they had seen together on their journey through life leading up to their wedding day. Nice touch!
